The Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 400 Boots are designed for high-altitude and cold-weather mountain conditions where stability, insulation, and durability are essential. Built for demanding backcountry terrain, these boots feature 10-inch uppers constructed from 2.8 mm premium full-grain leather. A one-piece vamp design eliminates seams along the tongue for improved abrasion resistance and enhanced waterproof performance. Reinforced double and triple stitching is placed in high-wear areas to increase longevity during rugged use.

A Windtex waterproof breathable membrane helps keep external moisture out while allowing perspiration vapor to escape. For cold environments, the boots include 400-gram Thinsulate insulation to provide warmth without adding unnecessary bulk. The 7 mm nylon midsoles deliver the firm support needed for steep climbs and heavy pack loads. Anti-corrosion hardware is engineered to swivel instead of break, and the reinforced rubber sole guard increases protection against abrasion in rocky terrain.

Lightweight K-Talon outsoles are designed for reliable traction on uneven, steep, and loose surfaces, making these boots suitable for mountain hunting and extended backcountry travel.
