Lightweight KPA Full Face MX Helmet, ECE 22.06 & DOT Certified

A good dirt helmet has to fit right and protect your head when a ride goes wrong, without costing what a race team spends. The LS2 Gate II Solid is built to do exactly that, which is why it has stayed on our wall for years.

The Gate II is built around LS2's Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) shell, a light material that flexes just enough to manage impact energy. At roughly 1050 grams it stays easy on your neck through a long moto, and it carries both DOT FMVSS 218 and the newer ECE 22.06 rating, including the rotational-energy standard.

• KPA SHELL IN 3 SIZES: LS2's Kinetic Polymer Alloy shell is light and strong, and three shell sizes mean a smaller head gets a smaller shell instead of extra bulk.
• ECE 22.06 & DOT CERTIFIED: Meets the latest ECE 22.06 standard and DOT FMVSS 218, with LS2's A.R.E.M. system built in to help manage rotational forces in a crash.
• WIDE EYE PORT FOR GOGGLES: The large opening fits most modern MX goggles with room to spare, so your setup seats right and your sightlines stay open. Goggles sold separately.
• FLOW-THROUGH VENTILATION: Multiple intake and exhaust ports are channeled through the EPS to pull cool air across your head and push heat out on hot days.
• WASHABLE MOISTURE-WICKING LINER: The liner and 3D laser-cut cheek pads pull sweat away and pop out for a wash, and the cheek pads are cut to clear eyeglasses.

Inside, multi-density EPS works with an emergency-release cheek pad system, so the pads can be pulled out to ease the helmet off if it is ever needed, and a double D-ring strap keeps it locked down the way racing tech requires.

It runs an intermediate oval fit that suits most riders, and you can get it in Matte Black, White, or a Red, White & Blue graphic across a full size run. Not sure on size?
