Story Time:  In the heart of small-town Utah, where values run deep and family comes first, Jorgensen Powersports was born — not from big money or big plans, but from hard work, humble beginnings, and an unshakable belief in serving the community. It all started in the 1940s, when Great Grandpa Herb Jorgensen set up a simple food stand beside his home, while working at the local gypsum plant and herding sheep to support his family. That same spirit of grit and service has fueled every chapter of our story since. In the 1950s, Herb’s son, Klar Jorgensen, opened a gas station in Sigurd, Utah — the original building still stands today. Klar wasn’t just a businessman; he was a visionary. By 1962, he became Utah’s first Honda Powersports dealer, bringing a new sense of adventure to the region. He didn’t stop there. Klar saw opportunity where others saw bowling pins — literally — purchasing Fundale Lanes, the local bowling alley and diner in 1974, and transforming the building attached into a larger home for the Honda dealership, Western Auto, and an ever-growing lineup of sporting goods, firearms, trailers, and more. Through the years, sons Dennis and Mike joined their dad in the business as young men, carrying the torch with excitement and purpose. And while the building expanded and brands evolved, one thing never changed — this place was always about people. Family. Neighbors. Friends.

Today, Jorgensen Powersports is a vibrant, full-service dealership — still in the very building Klar remodeled — offering the very best in Honda, Polaris, Can-Am, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki, CF Moto, and Yamaha powersports. We also provide camp trailers, open and enclosed utility trailers, RC cars, bicycles, sporting goods and firearms, and a full parts and service department. Whether you're tearing up a trail, exploring Utah’s mountains, or just chasing your weekend with your kids in tow — we're here to support your adventures. And our reach now stretches beyond the brick and mortar. In 2017, we launched our Online Sales Division, built on the same small-town values we’ve always stood for. What started with a few orders has grown into a thriving team of 12+ amazing, energetic employees, delivering the Jorgensen experience to customers all across the country.

In 2022, a new chapter began as Uncle Mike passed the torch to the next generation — Camron, Tyler, and Jared Jorgensen — who continue to grow the legacy with fresh vision and fierce dedication with their father, Dennis Jorgensen. We’re grateful and blessed to still be family-owned, still small-town grounded, and still doing business with a handshake and a smile.
